My wife Dixie and I moved from Colorado Springs to Salida in 2000 after the birth of our first son, Sheridan. Dixie is a Salida native and we wanted to raise our son (and now daughter and another son) in a safe, rural environment with less craziness.  The family has now migrated back to Colorado Springs for sports and educational benefits leaving me to commute weekly to and from my Salida office and home.  The mountain biking in Salida is superb and hard to leave!

I’m the Broker/Owner of Harder Real Estate and Development office downtown Salida as well as co-owner of Harder-Diesslin Development Group, also based in Salida.

As a Developer, I have done a number of land development projects in Colorado and the western U.S.  We've developed properties for FedEx Ground, Sherwin Williams, O’Reilly Auto Parts Stores, Family Dollar Stores, Auto Zone Stores, and more.  We currently have a project on South Nevada in Colorado Springs that includes Natural Grocers, Zoe's Kitchen, 5 Guys and Chick-Fil-A.  We have several multi-family projects underway in Chaffee County as well including Oak Street Condos, Antero condos, Angelview homes and Princeton Place all in Buena Vista and Salida.   Harder-Diesslin has brought over 70 residential units to the market in the last 12 months with more on the horizon for 2019 and beyond.
